New Communication Boards for Our Parks

Gahanna's parks are now even more accessible and inclusive, thanks to a collaborative project between GJPS, the Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation, Gahanna Parks & Recreation and the City of Gahanna. Four new communication boards were installed at Hannah, Friendship, Sunpoint and Woodside Green parks, making our parks more welcoming for all.
These boards are the result of a meaningful partnership, with input from some of GJPS' speech and language pathologists. A ribbon cutting was held in October 2024 at Sunpoint Park to celebrate the panels and the enhanced accessibility across the community.
