GLHS Senior Named 2024 National Merit Semifinalist

Gahanna Lincoln High School senior Duane Wilson has earned the prestigious recognition of being named a National Merit Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. This honor places him among the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide, based on his exceptional PSAT/NMSQT scores.
As a semifinalist, Duane will now compete for the chance to become a National Merit Finalist. To advance, he must submit a detailed application, which includes his academic achievements, participation in school and community activities, leadership roles, work experience and honors. Duane must also be endorsed by a high school official and write a personal essay.
National Merit Finalists have the opportunity to compete for over 6,000 college scholarships totaling nearly $26 million, with awards announced in the spring.
